8. Temperature Verification
a. Performance Check
(1) Go to C drive (or wherever the PRTCoefficient.exe folder was stored).
Open
THERMOMETER, then run PRTCoefficient.exe.
(2) After opening PRTCoefficients.exe program, select a5, b5 for temp-range from
30 to 30 C.
(3) Complete steps 1 through 4 in program, entering the values found for Rtpw (or
Rice), tm, Rm, tg, and Rg to generate the a5 and b5 coefficients.
(4) After a5 and b5 have been calculated, record these values to be submitted on test
report, along with value found for Rtpw (or Rice). (R)
(5) Click RETURN TO FRONT PAGE.
(6) From front page of PRTCoefficients.exe program, select: a8, b8 for temp-range
from 0 C to 400 C and complete steps 1 through 4 in program, entering the values found
for Rtpw (or Rice), tin, Rin, tzinc, and Rzinc to generate the a8 and b8 coefficients.
(7) After a8 and b8 have been calculated, record values to be submitted on test
report. (R)
(8) After recording all values, click EXIT and close all programs.
b. Adjustments.
No adjustment can be made.
Final Procedure
a. Deenergize and disconnect all equipment.
b. Annotate and affix DA label/form in accordance with TB 750-25.
NOTE
Only verified from 30.00 C through +400 C.
c. A calibration report must be furnished with the calibrated TI listing the Rtpw (or
Rice) as well as the a5, b5, a8 and b8 coefficients.
