13. Frequency, Dwell, and Duty Cycle
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect function generator to TI V Ω
and COM inputs.
(2) Set TI rotary switch to Hz ~. Press TI rotary switch pushbutton for 2 seconds to
put the TI in the ac-coupled frequency function.
TI will indicate between 19.98 kHz and 20.02 kHz.
(4) Set TI rotary switch to (Dwell) < %. Manually range TI to 4-cl.
(5) Set function generator as indicated in (a) through (d) below.
(a) Output: 8.00 V p-p.
(b) Dc offset: 4.00 V.
(d) Frequency: 100 Hz.
(6) TI will indicate between 4-33 and 4-71. If TI does not indicate within limits
specified, perform b below.
