(h) DELAY/ADVANCE/DOUBLE PULSE switch to DOUBLE PULSE.
(5) Adjust PULSE POSITION VERNIER dial slowly ccw. Oscilloscope will still
display both pulses when minimum separation of 100 ns is reached.
(6) Set PERIOD VERNIER dial to 2 and press AMPLITUDE 3-10 pushbutton.
Oscilloscope will display corresponding double pulse.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
13. External Trigger Level and Sensitivity
a. Performance Check
(1) Position controls as listed in (a) through (f) below:
MODE EXT TRIG pushbutton pressed.
(a)
PULSE POSITION 10n-.1 pushbutton pressed.
(b)
PULSE POSITION VERNIER dial to 1.
(c)
WIDTH .1 -1 pushbutton pressed.
(d)
WIDTH VERNIER dial to 10.
(e)
DELAY/ADVANCE/DOUBLE PULSE switch to DELAY.

(2) Connect equipment as shown in figure 6.

(3) Adjust function/arbitrary generator controls for an output of 100 kHz at 11 V p-p.
(4) Vary EXT INPUT LEVEL control from fully ccw to fully cw and observe that oscilloscope
CH 1 displays an OUTPUT pulse as the level control is varied within +5V and -5V limits.
(5) Set SLOPE switch to NEG and repeat (4) above.
