13. Resistance
a. Performance Check
(1) Set TI rotary switch to Ω.
and COM inputs
(2) Connect calibrator to TI V Ω
(3) Set calibrator for a 190 Ω nominal output.
(4) Set Calibrator 2 WIRE COMP soft key to on and ensure the EX SNS is off.
(5) Rotate calibrator knob below EDIT FIELD pushbutton to adjust calibrator
display indication to equal TI indication. Calibrator Err display will indicate within limits
specified for appropriate model in first row of table 6.
(6) Repeat technique of (3) through (5) above, using calibrator outputs and TI
indications listed in table 6. Calibrator Err display will indicate within limits specified in
table 6.
NOTE
To use the TI REL Δ feature for Ω, set rotary switch to Ω and
touch the test leads together, then press REL Δ pushbutton.

14. Frequency
a. Performance Check
and COM inputs through a 50 Ω feed
(1) Connect function generator to TI V Ω
through termination.
(2) Set TI rotary switch to V~. Press TI Hz button to select the frequency function.
(3) Set function generator for an output of 150 mVRMS at a frequency of 10 Hz. If TI
does not indicate within limits specified in first row of table 7, perform b below.
(4) Repeat (3) above for remaining settings and indications listed in table 7. If TI
does not indicate within limits specified in table 7, perform b below.
