(11) Set FUNCTION GENERATOR #1 output on.
(12) Depress and release FUNCTION GENERATOR #1 trigger switch while
measuring amplifier TP1. Adjust OSCILLOSCOPE channel 1 to display a pulse measuring
between 8.75 and 9.25 V, at between 9.9 and 10.1 msec.
(13) Depress and release FUNCTION GENERATOR #1 trigger switch while
measuring amplifier TP2. Adjust OSCILLOSCOPE channel 2 to display a pulse measuring
between 8.5 and 9.5 V, at between 9.9 and 10.1 msec.
b. Time of Function 20 Second Test
(1) Set FUNCTION GENERATOR #2 output on.
(2) Set OSCILLOSCOPE horizontal to 5 S.
(3) Depress and release FUNCTION GENERATOR #1 trigger switch while
measuring amplifier TP3. Adjust OSCILLOSCOPE channel 3 to display a pulse measuring
between 9.75 and 10.25 V, at between 19.9 and 20.1 sec (time measured with counter).
(4) Configure OSCILLOSCOPE as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a) Set horizontal control for 1 msec.
(b) Set trigger source to channel 4 (or channel 2).
(c) Set trigger mode to trigger on negative pulse.
(d) Ensure trigger level for -2.5 V.
(5) Depress and release FUNCTION GENERATOR #1 trigger switch while
measuring amplifier TP4. After 20 seconds, adjust OSCILLOSCOPE channel 4 to display a
negative pulse measuring between -7.75 and -10.25 V, at between 0.2 and 0.8 msec.
(6) Set TI SW1 Tube Select to 1.
(7) Depress and release S2 Timer Reset. Observe timer shows 0.000.
(8) Depress and release S8 Reset. Observe all Motor Energy LED's are Off.
(9) Depress and release FUNCTION GENERATOR #1 trigger switch. Observe TI
Motor Energy 1 LED should light.
(10) Observe Time Out LED remains lit for duration of TOF. Timer indicates
between 19.400 and 20.600 sec.
(11) Observe FREQUENCY COUNTER #2 indicates between 19.400 and 20.600 sec.
(12) Calculate (indication of (9) above - indication of (10) above) = 0.001.
(13) Set FUNCTION GENERATOR #2 output off.
c. Time of Function 2 Second Test
(1) Configure FUNCTION GENERATORS #2 by selecting "Recall 2". Set output to on.
(2) Set OSCILLOSCOPE horizontal to 500 mS.
(3) Depress and release FUNCTION GENERATOR #1 trigger switch while
measuring amplifier TP3. Adjust OSCILLOSCOPE channel 3 to display a pulse measuring
between 9.75 and 10.25 V, at between 1.9 and 2.1 sec.
(4) Depress and release TI S2 Timer Reset. Observe timer shows 0.000.
