TB 9-6625-163-24
IDENTIFICATION AND DESCRIPTION
This bulletin provides instructions for the
1. Test Instrument Identification.
calibration of Multimeter Set, AN/GSM-437 and True RMS Digital Multimeter Fluke,
model 287. TM 11-6625-1753-10, TM 11-6625-1753-23&P and the manufacturer's manual
were used as the prime data sources in compiling these instructions. The equipment being
calibrated will be referred to as the TI (test instrument) throughout this bulletin.
a. Model Variations. AN/GSM-437 contains high voltage probe model 80K-6 and
temperature probe model 80PK-26 and is calibrated as a kit. Fluke model 287 has no
accessories and is calibrated as a stand-alone meter.
b. Time and Technique. The time required for this calibration is approximately 1
hour, using the dc and low frequency technique.
2. Forms, Records, and Reports
a. Forms, records, and reports required for calibration personnel at all levels are
prescribed by TB 750-25.
b. Annotate adjustments IAW TB 750-25. All software adjustments made in the
adjustment sections are reportable. Report software adjustments made using parameter
and range failing performance check, i.e., 50mV dc, 500 Ω, etc.
3. Calibration Description. TI parameters and performance specifications which
pertain to this calibration are listed in table 1.

Add 20 counts in Dual Display AC over DC, DC over AC or AC + DC.
1
AC + DC ranges are specified from 2 to 140% of range, except 1000 V range is specified from 2 to
2
100% of range.
3 When using the relative mode (REL Δ) to compensate for offsets.
4 Add 4 counts/10 mV AC in Dual Display AC over DC, DC over AC or AC + DC.
5 Add 10 counts/100 mV AC in Dual Display AC over DC, DC over AC or AC + DC.
See footnotes at end of table.
