CALIBRATION PROCESS
6. Preliminary Instructions
a. The instructions outlined in paragraphs 6 and 7 are preparatory to the calibration
process. Personnel should become familiar with the entire bulletin before beginning the
calibration.
b. Items of equipment used in this procedure are referenced within the text by common
name as listed in table 2.
c. Verify the result of all tests throughout entire procedure, annotating each failure
prior to making any adjustments.  This provides the owner/user with the AS FOUND
condition of the TI. Adjustments required to calibrate the TI are included in this procedure.
Additional maintenance information is contained in TM 11-6625-1753-23&P and the
manufacturer's manual for this TI.
d. Unless otherwise specified, all controls and control settings refer to the TI.
7. Equipment Setup
WARNING
HIGH VOLTAGE is used or exposed during the performance of
this calibration.
DEATH ON CONTACT may result if
personnel fail to observe safety precautions.
REDUCE
OUTPUT(S)  to  minimum  after  each  step  within  the
performance check where applicable.
NOTE
Throughout this procedure soft keys are identified by the use of
brackets [ ] around the key. Menu options are identified by < >
around the option.
a. Place the TI temperature probe and adapter next to the sensor H-T system for use in
paragraph 16. Allow several minutes for temperature probe and adapter to stabilize before
performing paragraph 16.
b. Turn meter on and set TI function switch to

c. Press [Setup].
d. Select <Reset>.
e. Press [Meter].
f. Press [OK]. The TI will go through a power-up routine.
8. Dc Voltage And Temperature Readout
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect calibrator OUTPUT HI, LO to TI VΩ and COM inputs.
(2) Set calibrator output to 0 mV, OPR.
