(4) Set capacitance standard to 5000 pF.
(5) If TI does not indicate between 4.90 and 5.10 nF, perform b below.
(6) Disconnect capacitance standard.
(7) Connect TI to resistance standard 1.
(8) Set resistance standard 1 to 3.5 kΩ.
(9) Set up TI to perform diode check by pressing buttons as listed in (a) through (f) below.
(a)
[Menu].
(b)
Select <Diode, Cap>, [Diode].
(c)
[Setup].
(d)
Select <Instrument>, [Instrument].
(e)
Select <Beeper>, [Edit], <On>, [Ok].
(f)
[Close].
(10)If TI does not indicate between 2.0000 and 3.1000 V dc, perform b below.
(11)Set resistance standard 1 to 0.01 Ω. If TI does not beep, perform b below.
(12)Disconnect equipment.
b. Adjustments.  Complete all performance checks in paragraphs 8 through 14,

14. Duty Cycle, Acv Peak, Frequency
(1) Connect TI COM and VΩ input to function generator output.
(2) Set TI to measure duty cycle by pressing buttons (a) through (c) below.
(a) Function, V~.
(b) [Menu].
(c) Select <Hz, %, ms>, [%].
(3) Set function generator for a High Z output impedance. Establish a 5 V p-p,
50 kHz square wave with a 20% duty cycle. TI will indicate between 9.90% and 30.10%. If
TI does not indicate within limits specified, perform b below.
(4) Set TI to measure average peak by pressing buttons (a) through (d) below.

[Menu].
(b)
Select <VAC>, [VAC].
(c)
[Menu].
(d)
Select <Peak,CF>,[Peak].
(5) Set function generator for a 4 V p-p, 2 kHz square wave with a 50% duty cycle
and a +1 V dc offset. Press [Restart]. TI will indicate between 1.863 V and 2.137 V ave. If
TI does not indicate within limits specified, perform b below.
(6) Set function generator output to Sine~, 500 mV rms, and 45 Hz. Set offset
to 0 V dc.
(7) Set TI to measure frequency by pressing buttons as listed in (a) through (c) below.
