13. Resistance
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect test leads to TI V Ω RPM and COM jacks and set TI Function switch
to the Ω position. Short test leads together and press TI ZERO switch.
(2) Connect TI V Ω RPM and COM jacks to the Calibrator OUTPUT, observing
polarity.
(3) Set the Calibrator for the first value listed in the Applied column of table 9 and
set OPR/SBY switch to OPR.
(4) Set the Calibrator 2-wire Comp softkey to On and ensure the EX SNS is Off
(above 19 kΩ, set 2-wire Comp softkey to Off).
(5) Edit the Calibrator controls until the Calibrator Reading indication on the
display indicates the TI reading.
(6) The Calibrator Error indication on the display must indicate within the
corresponding values listed in the Limits column or % Error column of table 9.
(7) Set Calibrator OPR/STBY switch to STBY.
(8) Repeat steps (3) through (7) above for each remaining range and applied value
listed in table 9.

14. Frequency
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect the TI V Ω
RPM and COM jacks to the Function Generator
output.
(2) Set TI Function switch to the first function listed in the TI Function/Voltage
Range column in table 10.
(3) Manually select the range, if necessary, listed in the TI Function/Voltage
Range column by pressing the RANGE pushbutton as required.
(4) Select TI Frequency function by pressing the RPM/Hz pushbutton
as required.
(5) Set Function Generator for the first value listed in the Applied column of
table 10.
(6) The TI must indicate within the corresponding values listed in the Min/Max
column of table10. If TI does not indicate within limits specified in table 10, perform
b below.
