12. Output Waveform
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI Vp-p to oscilloscope Vertical 1 input using 50
feedthrough
termination.
(2) Position controls as listed in (a) through (e) below:
FUNCTION sine wave pushbutton pressed.
(a)
RANGE Hz 1k pushbutton pressed.
(b)
FREQUENCY dial to 1.
(c)
AMPLITUDE switch to 10 and AMPLITUDE VERNIER control fully cw.
(d)
All MODULATION pushbuttons released to out.
(e)
(3) Oscilloscope will indicate at least 10 V p-p.
(4) Press FUNCTION square wave pushbutton. Oscilloscope will indicate at
least 10 V p-p.
(5) Press FUNCTION triangle pushbutton. Oscilloscope will indicate at least
10 V p-p.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
13. Attenuator Accuracy
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect TI Vp-p to audio analyzer INPUT HIGH using 50
feedthrough
termination.
(2) Set audio analyzer to measure ac volts.
(3) Position controls as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a) FUNCTION sine wave pushbutton pressed.
(b) RANGE Hz 1k pushbutton pressed.
(c) FREQUENCY dial to 1.
(d) AMPLITUDE switch to 10 and AMPLITUDE VERNIER control for a
3.000 V indication on audio analyzer.
(4) Set AMPLITUDE switch to 1.
Audio analyzer will indicate between
0.285 V and 0.315 V.
(5) Set AMPLITUDE switch to .1. Audio analyzer will indicate between 28.5
mV and 31.5 mV.
(6) Set AMPLITUDE switch to .01.
Audio analyzer will indicate between
2.85 mV and 3.15 mV.
(7) Press RANGE Hz 100k pushbutton.
