(4) Connect TI to oscilloscope Vertical 1 input. If trace is not centered vertically on
oscilloscope, perform b (1) below.
(5) Connect multimeter to COLLECTOR of Q300 (fig. 2) and chassis ground. If
multimeter does not indicate 0 25 mV dc, perform b(2) below.

(6) Install TI protective covers and allow a 20 minute warm-up period.
(7) Remove TI protective covers. If trace is not centered vertically on oscilloscope,
perform b (1) below.
(8) Remove outer probe body (fig. 3) from probe tip to gain access to the probe circuit
board.
(9) Connect multimeter between the SOURCE of Q100 (fig. 2) and ground.
(10) If multimeter does not indicate between +0.35 and +0.45 V for serial number
B079000 and above, or between +0.025 and +0.050 V for serial numbers B076840 through
B078999, perform b (3) below.
(11) Disconnect the multimeter and connect the TI (output amplifier) to the Vertical
1 input of oscilloscope.
