(9) Rotate the delayed triggering LEVEL control throughout its range while
observing oscilloscope display. If triggering point does not occur at least 3.5 divisions above
and below the center horizontal graticule line, perform b below.
(10) Release delayed triggering SLOPE pushbutton to
and repeat (9) above.
(11) Release delayed triggering SOURCE pushbutton to EXT and repeat (9) above.
(12) Press delayed triggering SLOPE pushbutton to
and repeat (9) above.
(13) Reduce all outputs to minimum and disconnect equipment setup.
b. Adjustments
NOTE
Perform (1) through (28) below for SN B070000 & above.
Perform (1) through (7) and (29) through (61) below for SN
B069999 & below.
(1) Deenergize oscilloscope and connect TI to oscilloscope horizontal compartment
using extender. Energize oscilloscope.
(2) Connect calibrator OUTPUT HI and LO to vertical amplifier CH1 and TI
MAIN TRIG IN.
(3) Position controls as listed in (a) through (i) below:
MAIN TRIGGERING SLOPE switch to .
(a)
MAIN TRIGGERING LEVEL control to midrange.
(b)
Press MAIN TRIGGERING MODE AUTO pushbutton.
(c)
Press MAIN TRIGGERING SOURCE INT pushbutton.
(d)
TIME/DIV OR DLY TIME switch to 20 s.
(e)
DLY'D time/division switch to 10 s PULL FOR ALT.
(f)
Delayed triggering LEVEL control to RUNS AFTER DELAY TIME.
(g)
Press delayed triggering SLOPE pushbutton to .
(h)
Press delayed triggering SOURCE pushbutton to INT.
(i)
(4) Set vertical amplifier CH 1 VOLTS/ DIV switch to 50 mV.
(5) Adjust oscilloscope and TI INTENSITY controls for suitable viewing.
(6) Set calibrator output frequency to 50 kHz and amplitude for 4 divisions of
display on TI crt.
(7) Adjust vertical amplifier CH 1 POSITION control to vertically center the signal
on oscilloscope display.
(8) Adjust R75, R99, and R175 (fig. 1) to midrange.
(9) Adjust delayed triggering LEVEL control to 0.
(10) Connect multimeter HI to P204 (fig. 1), pin 4, and LO to chassis ground. Adjust
R254 (fig. 1) for a 0.0 V dc multimeter indication. Disconnect multimeter.
(11) Adjust MAIN TRIGGERING LEVEL control to 0.
(12) Adjust R75 (fig. 1) for a sweep trigger point at graticule centerline (TRIG'D
light on).
