(4) ATTENUATION dB FINE control fully cw.
(5) DISPLAY SELECT switch to FREQ (MHz).
(6) MODE switch to SELF TEST.
NOTE
When instructed to press E on keyboard, it may require
pressing more than once to achieve the desired result. If
entering a numerical value on keyboard a flashing +1 will
appear in the left position of the display. When E is pressed
and the entry accepted, the flashing +1 disappears. When
unacceptable data limits are entered and E is pressed, the
value entered will start flashing. Continue to press E or
pressing CK will cancel unacceptable entries.
8. Output Frequency
a. Performance Check
(1) Press R on keyboard and wait for digital display to complete.
NOTE
The display will indicate +1888.88 for 2 seconds. Display will
indicate 00000 then increment by ones at a 0.7 second rate
until 99999 is reached. The display will then go blank.
(2) Press E on keyboard and wait for TI self-test to complete. TI will indicate on
display when self-test is complete.
NOTE
TI will stop momentarily at test numbers between 110
and 185.
(3) If display indicates ‰ XXX (example ‰170) instead of [ ] ensure all controls are
(1) and (2) above. If all controls were properly positioned, perform b (1) through (15) below.
(4) Connect measuring receiver to TI RF IN/OUT connector and configure for
frequency measurements.
(5) Position controls as listed in (a) through (e) below:
MODE switch to SIG GEN CW.

ATTENUATION DB 0-80 switch to 0.
(c)
ATTENUATION DB FINE control for 0.0 dBm indication on TI display.
