(23) Adjust signal generator No. 2 RF OUT control fully ccw.
(24) Repeat (15) through (23) above for signal generator No. 2 frequencies of 1030
and 1035 MHz.
(25) Disconnect cable from SUM RF IN/OUT and connect to DIFF RF IN/OUT.
Repeat (15) through (24) above. If adjustment is required in (19) or (20) above, perform
b (7) below.
b. Adjustments
NOTE
The adjustments in (1) through (7) below must be adjusted for
the best in-tolerance condition at 1025, 1030, and 1035 MHz.
(1) Adjust M1A1R2 (fig. 1) for a MEASUREMENT meter indication of 18 dBW (R).
(2) Adjust M1AR7 (fig. 1) for a MEASUREMENT meter indication of 33 dBW (R).
(3) Set variable attenuator dial to setting on calibration chart for 60 dB and repeat
(1) above.
(4) Set variable attenuator dial to setting on calibration chart for 45 dB and repeat
(2) above.
(5) Repeat (3) and (4) above for best in-tolerance condition.
NOTE
If conditions of (3) through (5) above cannot be met, adjust
M1A1R1 (fig. 1) slightly cw or ccw and repeat (3) through (5)
above.
