on CH 2.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Position controls as listed in 7 d above.
(2) Connect REPLY VID OUT to oscilloscope Channel 1 input, using video cable
and 75 : termination. Connect SCOPE TRIG OUT to oscilloscope AUX TRIG IN input,
using video cable.
(3) Adjust oscilloscope controls as necessary to view TI reply pulse train.
(4) While observing oscilloscope display and TI REPLIES REPLY INHIB
indicator, set SIF CHAL VID SIF MODE SEL switch to 1 and TRIG SEL DCD MODE
SEL switch to 1. The reply pulse train will disappear from oscilloscope display and the
REPLIES REPLY INHIB indicator will light.
(5) Press and hold BIT (MOM) pushbutton. The reply pulse train will reappear on
oscilloscope display and the REPLIES REPLY INHIB indicator will be extinguished.
(6) With the BIT (MOM) pushbutton pressed, set SIF CHAL VID SIF MODE
SEL switch to 2. The reply pulse train will disappear from oscilloscope display and the
REPLIES REPLY INHIB indicator will light.
(7) With the BIT (MOM) pushbutton pressed, set TRIG SEL DCD MODE SEL
switch to 2. The reply pulse train will reappear on oscilloscope display and the REPLIES
REPLY INHIB indicator will be extinguished.
(8) Repeat (6) above with SIF CHAL VID SIF MODE SEL switch set to 3/A.
(9) Repeat (7) above with TRIG SEL DCD MODE SEL switch set to 3/A.
