a. Performance Cheek
(2) Measure pulse width using standard measurement technique. Pulse width as
indicated on oscilloscope will be between 2 and 6 ns with at least 1 V in amplitude.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect PRETRIG OUT (85ns) to CHANNEL A of frequency counter. Also
connect PULSE OUTPUT to CHANNEL B of frequency counter.
NOTE
Cables must be of equal length.
(2) Measure delay using standard measurement technique. If frequency counter
does not indicate between 80 and 90 ns, perform b below.
NOTE
It may be necessary to adjust frequency counter level controls
to obtain frequency counter indications.
b. Adjustments
(1) Deenergize equipment.
(2) Remove TI from sampling unit or power supply (leave cables connected).
(3) Remove TI protective cover.
(4) Install extender (012-0124-00) in sampling unit or power supply.
(5) Connect TI to extender.
(6) Energize equipment.
(7) Adjust C60 (fig. 1) for a frequency counter indication of 85 ns (R).
17. Pulse Width and Period
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect PULSE OUTPUT to frequency counter CHANNEL A and B inputs.
(2) Measure pulse width using standard measurement technique.
Frequency
counter will indicate at least 350 ns (see note after 16 a (2) above).
(3) Measure period, using standard measurement technique. Frequency counter
will indicate between 7.5 and 9.1 μs for SN B070389 and below and 14 to 18 μs for SN
B070390 and above.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
