a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI pushbuttons for indications as listed in (a) through (f) below:
(a)
VERTICAL MODE CH 1 on.
(b)
VERT MODE CH 2, CH 3, and CH 4 off.
(c)
TRIGGER SOURCE to VERT CH 1.
(d)
TRIGGER MODE to NORM.
CH 1 and CH 2 input coupling to 1 MΩ DC.
(e)
Set TI ∆V to indicate ∆V (cursors off).
(f)
(2) Position controls as listed in (a) and (b) below:
(a) CH 1 and CH 2 VOLTS/DIV VAR controls cw to detent.
(b) TRIGGER LEVEL control to midrange.
(3) Perform steps (a) through (c) below:
(a) Set oscilloscope calibrator VOLTAGE output as listed in first row of table
(c) TI CH 1 VOLTS/DIV switch as listed in first row of table 10.
(4) Alternately adjust TRIGGER LEVEL control for most positive or most negative
voltage that produces a barely triggered display when selecting + and - SLOPE. If
TRIGGER LEVEL readout indication is not within limits given in + peak column or -
