(28) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (d) below:

(29) Adjust TI DATA knob to place marker down the positive going side of the
displayed signal to the 3 dB point.
(30) Adjust A4A9R65 (fig. 8) for a MKR
indication of 5 kHz while maintaining
marker at the 3 dB point using TI DATA knob (R).

(31) Press TI MARKER
(32) Adjust TI DATA knob to set marker to the 3 dB point on the negative going
side of the displayed signal. There are now two markers; one on each side of the signal at
the 3 dB points.
(33) TI MKR  indication should be 10 1.0 kHz.
(34) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (i) below:
MARKER OFF.
(a)
CENTER FREQUENCY, 100, MHz.
(b)
FREQUENCY SPAN, 5, kHz.
(c)
RES BW, 3, kHz.
(d)
REFERENCE LEVEL, 10, dBm.

SCALE LIN.

(35) Adjust DATA knob to position trace at (or just below) reference level (top)
