CAUTION
Do not operate TI until ground connection is made.
e. Energize equipment and allow 20 minutes for equipment to warm-up and stabilize.
f. Turn TI MASTER INDICATOR switch to OFF.
WARNING
HIGH VOLTAGE is used or exposed during the performance of
this calibration.
DEATH ON CONTACT may result if
personnel fail to observe safety precautions.
REDUCE
OUTPUT(S)  to  minimum  after  each  step  within  the
performance checks where applicable.
8. VOLTS RMS Meter
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect ac voltmeter to pins A (high) and C (ground) of MAST GEN OUTPUT
connector of TI, using cable in figure 1 or adapters and cables.

(2) Position TI controls as indicated in (a) through (f) below:
Voltmeter selector switch to MASTER GEN A-C.

MASTER GEN-TEST switch to MASTER GEN.
(b)
MAST GEN OUTPUT control fully counterclockwise.
(c)
LOAD IN OHMS switch to OFF.
(d)
INCREASE SPEED control to DRIVE POWER ON.
(e)
MASTER INDICATOR switch to ON.
(f)
(3) Adjust MAST GEN OUTPUT and INCREASE SPEED controls for 8 volts, as
indicated on TI VOLTS RMS meter. Ac voltmeter will indicate between 7.4 and 8.6 vac.
(4) Repeat (3) above using settings listed in table 4. Ac voltmeter indications will be
within limits specified.
