9. Angle Indication Greater Than 45
a. Performance Check
(1) Setup equipment on level surface plate as shown in figure 3 using the 5-inch
sine plate.

(2) Ensure TI HOLD and ALT ZERO functions are deactivated.
(3) Check TI in positions 5 through 8 (fig. 4). TI will indicate within limits specified
in table 4. If not, perform b below.
