NOTE
The Q value is permanently assigned and indicated on the
calibration resistor. If the value of Q cannot be found, the
assigned value can be obtained from the manufacturer.
(d) FUNCTION (if necessary) to select MEASURE.
(e) MEASURE MODE (if necessary) to select TRIGGERED.
(f) 1 6 9 3 = 1 SHIFT CALIBRATE. (GO indicator should be lit with "6" in the
left and right displays to confirm that calibration is enabled).
(g) Keep hands and objects at least 4 inches away from remote test fixture, then
press START (GO indicator extinguishes and lights again when complete).
(h) MEASURE MODE (if necessary) to select CONT.
(17) Ensure that value displayed in the left display is the present measured value of
calibration resistor and that the value in the right display is the approximate Q value of the
calibration resistor.
NOTE
The displayed Q value may be somewhat unstable and differ
from the entered value by several counts; this is normal. If the
resistance value displayed in left display is not within the
limits of table 5, adjustment was unsuccessful and should be
repeated.
(18) Repeat technique of (14) through (17) above for remaining calibration resistors
and ranges. In steps (14) and (16) (a) through (c) above, substitute calibration resistors and
range values listed in table 6. Use present measured value of calibration resistor recorded
in 7 b (7).

(19) Restart the TI by turning it off and on. Verify that no errors were introduced
during adjustment and that TI passes all self checks and limits in table 5.
a. De-energize and disconnect all equipment.
b. Annotate and affix DA label/form in accordance with TB 750-25.
