Frequency in 2 (d) above is entered in kHz (i.e. 100 Hz = 0.100
and 200 kHz = 200).

(a) FREQ A.
(b) DC Coupled.
(c) 1 MΩ Input.
(d) FILTER on.
(e) MEASUREMENT TIME, 1 sec.
(4) Frequency counter will indicate within the limits for the first value in table 4.

(5) Repeat technique of (2)(d) above for remaining frequencies in table 4. Frequency
counter will indicate within the limits of table 4.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect equipment as shown in figure 1, connection B above.
(2) Set TI to factory preset condition by completing (a) and (b) below.
(a) FUNCTION (if necessary) to select ENTER.
(b) Press 2 = SHIFT SPECIAL 7.
(3) Place calibration resistor labeled OPEN in the test fixture.
(4) Perform TI open circuit compensation by completing (a) through (d) below.
(a) FUNCTION (if necessary) to select MEASURE.
(b) MEASURE MODE (if necessary) to select TRIGGERED.
(c) Press 1 6 9 3 = SHIFT OPEN. (GO indicator will light with "0" in the left
and right displays).
(d) Keep hands and objects at least 4 inches away from remote test fixture, then
press START button. (GO indicator extinguishes and lights again when complete).
(5) Remove calibration resistor labeled OPEN from the remote test fixture.
