(3) Increase the oscilloscope calibrator frequency until the TI CRT display decreases
to 4.2 div.
(5) Set the TI CH2 VOLTS/DIV to .1 V.
(6) Set the oscilloscope calibrator for a 50 kHz leveled sine wave at 600 mV p-p.
Adjust the output to obtain 6 div of vertical deflection on the TI CRT.
(7) Increase the oscilloscope calibrator frequency until the TI CRT display decreases
to 4.2 div.
(9) Set oscilloscope calibrator to standby and select oscilloscope calibrator CHAN 1.
(10) Set TI VERTICAL MODE to CH1. Move the 50 Ω feedthrough from CH2 to
CH1 and repeat steps (2) through (8) above using the appropriate TI CH1 controls.
(11) Set oscilloscope calibrator to standby.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Set the TI controls as follows:
TRIGGER SOURCE
CH1
TRIGGER COUPLING
DC
0.1 μs
TIME/DIV
(2) Set the oscilloscope calibrator for a 5 MHz leveled sine wave at 50 mV p-p. Set
the OUTPUT to ON. Adjust the output to obtain 0.5 div of vertical deflection on the TI CRT.
(3) Adjust the TI TRIGGER LEVEL knob as required to verify TI triggers a stable
display.
(4) Set the oscilloscope calibrator for a 20 MHz leveled sine wave at 150 mV p-p.
Adjust the output to obtain 1.5 div of vertical deflection on the TI CRT.
(5) Adjust the TI TRIGGER LEVEL knob as required to verify TI triggers a stable
display.
(6) Set the oscilloscope calibrator to standby. Disconnect the TI CH1 input
connector and connect to the TI CH1 input connector and EXT input connector through the
dual input coupler
(7) Set the TI TRIGGER SOURCE to EXT.
(8) Set the oscilloscope calibrator for a 50 kHz leveled sine wave at 100 mV p-p. Set
the OUTPUT to ON. Adjust the output to obtain 1 div of vertical deflection on the TI CRT,
then set the output frequency for 5 MHz.
(9) Adjust the TI TRIGGER LEVEL knob as required to verify TI triggers a stable
display.
