(10)Set the oscilloscope calibrator for a 50 kHz leveled sine wave at 200 mV p-p.
Adjust the output to obtain 2 div of vertical deflection on the TI CRT, then set the output
(11) Adjust the TI TRIGGER LEVEL knob as required to verify TI triggers a stable
display.
(12) Disconnect the connection from TI CH1 input connector and connect to the TI
CH2 input connector.
(13) Set TI VERTICAL MODE to CH2, TRIGGER SOURCE to CH2 and repeat
steps (1) through (5) above using the appropriate TI CH2 controls.
(14) Set the oscilloscope calibrator output to standby.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
a. Performance Check
(1) Set the TI controls as follows:

TRIGGER SOURCE

TRIGGER COUPLING

(2) Move the connection from TI CH2 to TI CH 1 input connector.
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator MARKER output to 0.1 s, and set TI VOLTS/DIV
switch for approximately 4 divisions of vertical display.
(4) Adjust TRIGGERING LEVEL control for a stable display and horizontal
POSITION control to align 2nd marker behind 2nd vertical graticule line.
(5) Adjust oscilloscope calibrator knob located under the EDIT FIELD key to align
10th marker behind 10th vertical graticule line. If oscilloscope calibrator Err displayed
does not indicate within limits shown in the first row of table 4, perform b below.
(6) Repeat technique of (3) thru (5) above for TIME/DIV and oscilloscope calibrator
MARKER outputs listed in table 4. If oscilloscope calibrator Err displayed does not indicate
within limits shown in table 4 at each setting, perform b below.
(7) Set TIME/DIV switch to 1 SEC and the X10 MAG button to In. Set
oscilloscope calibrator MARKER output to 0.1 s and set TI VOLTS/DIV switch for
approximately 4 divisions of vertical display.
(8) Adjust TRIGGERING LEVEL control for a stable display and horizontal
POSITION control to align 2nd marker behind 2nd vertical graticule line.
(9) Adjust oscilloscope calibrator knob located under the EDIT FIELD key to align
10th marker behind 10th vertical graticule line. If Err displayed on oscilloscope calibrator
does not indicate within 5 %, perform b below.
