(14) Down range nullmeter while using calibrator rotary knob to obtain finest null on
lowest possible nullmeter range that was zeroed (i.e., 3 uV range).
(15) Record the value of the calibrator output display (i.e., 100.00077 V) in the
Calibrator Display column in table A-2, row 9.
(16) Up range nullmeter and set calibrator output to STBY.
(17) Set reference divider MODE to 1000V/100:1.
(18) Set calibrator output to 100 times the test report value of the transfer standard
10 V tap (i.e., 1000.0072 V), output to OPR.
(19) Down range nullmeter while using calibrator rotary knob to obtain finest null on
lowest possible nullmeter range that was zeroed (i.e., 3 uV range).
(20) Record the value of the calibrator output display (i.e., 1000.0056 V) in the
Calibrator Display column in table A-2, row 11.
(21) Up range nullmeter and set calibrator output to STBY.
(22) Reverse the leads at the transfer standard (negative polarity).
(23) Repeat technique of (2) through (21) for negative polarity. Do not reverse leads
at calibrator. Use calibrator +/- key for negative polarity. Record the value of the calibrator
output display in the Calibrator Display column in table A-2, rows 6, 8, 10 and 12 as
applicable.
(24) Up range nullmeter, set calibrator output to minimum and disconnect
equipment set-up. Apply line power to nullmeter and transfer standard.
(25) Use values from table A-2 to complete the tables in paragraphs 9 a and 15 b.

2. AC Voltage Characterization
NOTE
The point of measurement is at the end of the cable/adapters
that connect to the AC measurement standard. Different cable
lengths/adapters  will  yield  different  results.
The
cable/adapters used during characterization MUST be used
during performance checks and adjustments.
