(1) ZERO CAL the AC measurement standard (if necessary).
(2) Connect equipment as shown in figure A-2.
Figure A-2. AC Voltage Characterization.
(3) Set AC measurement standard to INPUT 2, EX GRD on.
NOTE
The GUARD status must be refreshed when the AC
measurement standard changes from the 220 V range to any
higher range. To refresh, press the EX GRD key twice (once to
turn off the indicator and once to turn in back on).
(4) Using MEAS CONTROL under the UTIL MENU, set the AC measurement
standard Digital filter MODE to MEDIUM, RESTART to FINE.
(5) Set AC measurement standard range to the first setting in table A-3.
(6) Set calibrator voltage/frequency to the first settings in table A-3, output to OPR.
(7) Record the AC measurement standard indication in the True Applied column in
table A-3.
(8) Repeat technique of (5) through (7) for remaining AC measurement standard
ranges and calibrator output voltages/frequencies in table A-3.
(9) Set the calibrator output to minimum and disconnect equipment set-up.
(10) Use values from table A-3 to complete the tables in paragraphs 10 a and 15 c.
