(16) Press TI [SPEC ANA], [Center Freq], 100 MHz, [Span], 1 kHz,
[REF LEVEL], 0 dBm, [SELECT] to select ANTENNA input.
(17) Connect signal generator to TI ANTENNA input and configure signal generator
for a 100 MHz, 0 dBm output.
(18) Configure measuring receiver in spectrum analysis mode to 10.7 MHz, 0 dBm
reference level, 1 dB/div, 100 kHz span and 300 kHz resolution bandwidth.
(19) Connect measuring receiver to TI PLD (fig. 5) using zero loss probe.
(20) Adjust C1 (fig. 5) and C35 (fig. 5.) for maximum signal level display on
measuring receiver.
(21) Set signal generator for a 78.6 MHz, +10 dBm output.
(22) Configure measuring receiver in spectrum analysis mode to 100.7 MHz,
2 kHz/div span, 10 dB/div, 1 kHz resolution bandwidth and no input attenuation.
(23) Connect measuring receiver to TI TP2 (fig. 5) using zero loss probe.
(24) Adjust L2 (fig. 5) to minimize 100.7 MHz displayed signal on measuring receiver.
(25) Set signal generator for a 94.65 MHz, +10 dBm output.
(26) Configure measuring receiver in spectrum analysis mode to 84.65 MHz, -50 dBm
reference level, 1 dB/div.
(27) Adjust L3 (fig. 5) to minimize 84.65 MHz displayed signal on measuring
receiver.
(28) Set signal generator for a 105.35 MHz, +10 dBm output.
(29) Configure measuring receiver in spectrum analysis mode to 73.95 MHz, -60 dBm
reference level, 1 dB/div.
(30) Adjust L4 (fig. 5) to minimize 73.95 MHz displayed signal on measuring
receiver.
(31) Disconnect measuring receiver from TI TP2 (fig. 5).
(32) Press TI [HELP SETUP], [Calibrate], [NB pwr Mtr].
(33) Press TI [Reset Cal] key.
(34) Press TI [SPEC ANA], [SELECT] to ANTENNA, [Span], [1 kHz], [Center
Freq], [100 MHz], [Ref Level], [0 dBm], [Res BW], [Manual Res BW], [3MHz] keys.
(35) Configure measuring receiver in spectrum analysis mode to 10.7 MHz, reference
level 0 dBm, 10 dB/div, 100 kHz span/div, -10 dB attenuation.
(36) Set signal generator for a 10.7 MHz, -6dBm output.
(37) Remove lead connected to PLA (fig. 6) on TI A4/1 board.
Connect signal
generator output to PLA (fig. 6).
(38) Connect low loss probe from measuring receiver, ensuring good ground
connection, monitor level applied to PLA (fig. 6) and adjust signal generator output level
until measuring receiver indication is -12 dBm 0.2 dB at PLA.
