a. Performance Check
.
(2) Set TI as listed in (a) through (f) below:
(a) Press SPEC ANA.
(b) Press RF IN/OUT SELECT to select N-type output.
(c) Press SPEC ANA, [Center Freq] and 101 MHz.
(d) Press SPEC ANA, [Span], and 2 kHz.
(e) Press SPEC ANA, [Ref Level] and 0 dBm.
(f) Press SPEC ANA, [Res BW], [Manual Res BW] and 30 kHz.
(3) Set signal generator for a 101 MHz, 0 dBm output with no modulation.
(4) Adjust signal generator output amplitude to place TI trace on top graticule line.
(5) Record signal generator output amplitude.
(6) Adjust signal generator output amplitude to place TI trace on next graticule line
down. If signal generator output amplitude indication is not within limits specified in first
row of table 25 below value recorded in (5) above, perform b below.
(7) Repeat technique of (6) above for remaining divisions in table 25. If signal
generator output amplitude indication is not within limits specified in table 25 below value
recorded in (5) above, perform b below.

b. Adjustments
NOTE
The adjustments in (1) through (12) below must be made with
TI RF tray lid in position. As it is necessary to monitor a test
point under the lid, a temporary extension wire must be made
to the test point.
(1) Remove TI RF lid.
(2) Unscrew L1 core (fig. 4) until it is flush with the former.
