(6) Read PCT (current measurement of the piston cylinder temperature sensor) by
pressing TI keys as listed in (a) through (d) below.

(8) Wait approximately 60 minutes for temperature readout to stabilize.
NOTE
If total temperature change over the time of the test of either
the Thermometer or PCT is greater than 0.025 C, the
temperature instability during the test is excessive and the
measurements should be repeated.
(9) Record the current reading of PCT and the thermometer readout every
30 seconds for 5 minutes.
(10) Compare TI PCT indications to thermometer readout indications. TI and
thermometer readout will agree within 0.1 C. If not, perform b below.
b. Adjustments
(1) Average the TI PCT indications and thermometer readout indications from
paragraph 12 a (8).
(2) Calculate and record the difference between TI PCT average and temperature
readout average using the formula below:
