a. Connect TI to appropriate power source, set TI LINE ON/OFF switch to ON and
allow a 30 minute warm-up period.
b. Set TI LOG-LIN button as required to obtain unit of measurement (%, dB or V).
c. Connect all equipment to appropriate power source, set all POWER switches to ON
or STBY, and allow a warm-up time as required by manufacturer.
8. AC Level Accuracy and Output Level Accuracy and Flatness (8903A)
a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI numerical keys for 41.0 and then press SPCL key to initialize TI.
(2) Set TI 80 kHz LOW PASS FILTER to off (Led off). Set INPUT and OUTPUT
float switches to ground. Ensure RATIO key to off (Led off).
(3) Connect CALIBRATOR OUTPUT to TI INPUT HIGH connector.
(4) Press TI numeric keys for first Special Function listed in table 3 below and press
SPCL key.
(5) Set CALIBRATOR to first values in Level and Frequency columns of table 3
below. Set CALIBRATOR OPR/STBY switch to OPR.
(6) Set TI numeric keys for first value listed in Ratio column in table 3 below. (Key in
voltage numeric value only; do NOT press V or mV key.) Set TI RATIO button to on (Led on).
(7) Record % indication. TI must indicate within corresponding limits in table 3 below.
(8) Repeat technique of (4) through (7) above for remaining parameters and limits
