b. Adjustments
(1) Rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton for
an Err display of 0.0%.
(2) Adjust CH 1 GAIN control (front panel) to midrange and adjust R365 (fig. 7) for
5 divisions of vertical display on TI (R).
NOTE
If R365 (fig 7) cannot be adjusted for 5 divisions display, leave
R365 (fig 7) at maximum and adjust CH 1 GAIN control for 5
divisions of vertical display.
(3) Adjust CH 2 GAIN control (front panel) for a straight line display (R).
22. CH 1 and CH 2
Volts/Div Compensation
a. Performance Check
(1) Position CH 1 and CH 2 switches as listed in (a) through (d) below:
(a) VOLTS/DIV to 20 mV.
(b) INPUT to DC.
(c) MODE to CH 1.
(d) A AND B TIME/DIV AND DELAY TIME to .2 ms.
(2) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 1 to TI CH 1 and
SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 2 to TI CH 2 input, through 50Ω feedthrough terminations,
and 5 - 80 pF standardizers.
(3) Set oscilloscope calibrator for a CHAN 1, EDGE mode output of 100 mV at 1
kHz and rotate oscilloscope calibrator knob located below EDIT FIELD pushbutton for 5
divisions of vertical deflection on TI. If TI does not display square waves with square
corners and flat tops, adjust standardizer for optimum square wave.
NOTE
If standardizer does not have sufficient range to obtain
optimum square wave, adjust C9 (fig. 6) to midrange and
readjust standardizer (R).
