26. External Sweep Operation
a. Performance Check
(1) Position controls as listed in (a) through (e) below:
(a) TIME/DIV switch to EXT.
(b) DIGITAL STORAGE VIEW A pushbutton to off.
(c) DIGITAL STORAGE VIEW B pushbutton to off.
(d) VERTICAL DISPLAY 2 dB/DIV pushbutton on.
(e) TRIGGERING FREE RUN pushbutton on.

(2) Position crt beam on left graticule edge with vertical POSITION control. (This
establishes the 0 V reference.)
division sweep. Peak-to-peak voltage on oscilloscope will be between 18 and 22 V p-p.
(4) Disconnect test equipment and adjust TIME/DIV switch to AUTO.
b. Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
