a. Performance Check
(1) Press FUNCTION K
pushbutton.
(2) Connect resistance standard no. 1 to DMM INPUT LO and HI terminals.
(3) Adjust resistance standard no. 1 until DMM indicates 1000 k . If resistance
standard no. 1 does not indicate between 991 and 1009 k , perform b below.
(4) Repeat the technique of (3) above for DMM indications listed in table 9.
Resistance standard will indicate within settings listed in table 9.

Connect both resistance standard no. 1 and resistance standard no. 2 in series.

b. Adjustments. Set resistance standard no. 1 for 1000 k
DMM indication of 1000 (R).
a. Performance Check
NOTE
Do not perform power supply check if all other parameters are
within tolerance.
(1) Connect multimeter to +3 V test point (fig. 1) and chassis ground. If multimeter
does not indicate within 2.98 to 3.02 V, perform b below.
(2) Remove TI from ac source and connect dc power supply and multimeter to dc
input jacks on TI observing polarity.
(3) Adjust dc power supply to +9 V as indicated on multimeter. Press SCOPE
POWER pushbutton to ON.
(4) Adjust INTENSITY control for a trace of moderate intensity.
(5) Slowly lower output voltage of dc power supply until TI trace disappears.
Multimeter will indicated less than 7.7 V and ON (FLASHES WHEN LOW) light will flash.
b. Adjustments. Adjust R1084 (fig. 4) for 3.00 V (R).
a. Deenergize and disconnect all equipment and reinstall protective cover on TI.
b. Annotate and affix DA label/form in accordance with TB 750-25.
