(10) Set REPLIES REPLY WIDTH SELECT switch to VARY. Rotate REPLIES
REPLY WIDTH VARY control from fully ccw to fully cw, while observing the pulse width
on the oscilloscope. The pulse width will vary from <0.15 to >1.5 Ps.
(11) Set REPLIES REPLY WIDTH SELECT switch to 0.45 and REPLIES SIF
REPLY CODE switches to 0010.
(12) Measure the spacing between the leading edges of the 1st and 2d pulses in the
reply train. The spacing will be 1.45 0.02 PVs.
(13) Set REPLIES SIF REPLY CODE switches to the first setting listed in table 8.
Measure the period of the REPLY VID OUT signal, the period will be within limits
specified.
(14) Repeat technique of (13) above for the remaining REPLY SIF REPLY CODE
switches settings listed in table 8. Oscilloscope will indicate as specified.

(15) Set REPLIES SUB PULSE SEL switch to C1 and REPLIES SIF REPLY
CODE switches to 0010.
(16) Measure the spacing between the leading edges of the 1st and 2d pulses on
Channel 1 of the oscilloscope. The spacing will be 1.45 0.02 Ps.
