(10) Adjust control for flattest waveform. Adjust SEC/DIV VAR control for best
viewing. Total system will tune up best if indicator cursor is in the 7th or 8th divisions.
(11) Adjust SEC/DIV VAR control fully cw to detent.
(12) Press and release lower TRIGGER COUPLING pushbutton. Display readout
will indicate: ADJ (step) 1, 10 mV, 100 ns.
(13) Adjust R605, R403, C404, and C601 (fig. 1) for flattest response in first 100 ns (R).
(14) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 1 to CH 1 using a
50
feedthrough termination.
(15) Set oscilloscope calibrator LEVEL SINE output to 2 MHz, and 6 divisions of display.
(16) Change oscilloscope calibrator LEVEL SINE output frequency to 250 MHz.
(17) Increase oscilloscope calibrator LEVEL SINE output frequency from 250 MHz
to 350 MHz. If display amplitude drops below 4.4 divisions adjust HF ADJUST (R417) (fig. 1)
(R).
(18) Press and release upper TRIGGER COUPLING pushbutton. Display readout
will indicate: ADJ (step) 2, 10 mV, 100ns.
(19) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 1 to CH 1 using
X10 and X2 attenuators.
(20) Set oscilloscope calibrator EDGE output frequency to 100 kHz and adjust
output amplitude for 5 divisions on display.

(21) Adjust R411, C403, and L403 (fig. 1) and
waveform for use in (25) below (R).
(22) Press and release upper TRIGGER COUPLING pushbutton. The crt readout
will indicate: ADJ (step) 3, 1 0 mV, 10 ns.
(23) Move connection from CH 1 to CH 2.
(24) Set oscilloscope calibrator EDGE output for 5 divisions on display.

will indicate: ADJ (step) 4, 2 mV, 10 ns.
(27) Connect oscilloscope calibrator SOURCE/MEASURE CHAN 1 to CH 1 using
X10, X5, and X2 attenuators. Adjust oscilloscope calibrator EDGE output for 5 divisions of display.

will indicate: ADJ (step) 5, 5 mV, 10 ns.
(30) Remove X2 attenuator from setup and adjust oscilloscope calibrator EDGE
