a. Performance Check
(1) Press TI 2-22 GHz.
(2) Connect equipment as shown in fig. 26.

(3) Set synthesizer/level generator for an output frequency of 20.000 MHz, an
output power level of +10 dBm, and amplitude increments of 10 dB/step.
(4) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (f) below:
CENTER FREQUENCY, 20, MHz.

FREQUENCY SPAN, 50, kHz.
(b)
REFERENCE LEVEL, 10, +dBm.
(c)
MARKER PEAK SEARCH.
(d)
MKR CF.

(5) Press TI keys as listed in (a) through (c) below:
(a) FREQUENCY SPAN, 0, Hz.
(b) VIDEO BW, 1, Hz.
(c) MARKER .
(6) If TI marker amplitude displayed is not within limits specified in first row of
table 15, perform b below.
(7) Step synthesizer/level generator output down 10 dB.
(8) Repeat technique in steps (6) and (7) above for remaining synthesizer/level
generator output settings listed in table 15. If TI marker amplitudes displayed are not
within limits specified in table 15, perform b below.
