NOTE
While performing resistance accuracy checks in table 4, add
resistance standards no. 2, 3, and 4 to resistance standard no. 1
as required for appropriate megohm ranges.
NOTE
Perform (5) through (9) below for models 7676-1, 7679, and
7679-1 having additional ohms range scale and range switch.
(5) Set range selector switch to OHMS and remove resistance standard no. 4.
(6) While rotating cranks adjust resistance standard no. 1 for an indication of 100
ohms on meter. Resistance standard will indicate between 95 and 105 ohms.
(7) While rotating crank, adjust resistance standard for an indication of 1000 ohms
on meter. Resistance standard will indicate between 900 and 1100 ohms.
(8) While rotating crank, adjust resistance standard for an indication of 5 kilohms
on meter. Resistance standard will indicate between 4500 and 5500 ohms.
(9) Set range selector switch to MEGOHMS.
b.
Adjustments. No adjustments can be made.
11. Final Procedure
a. Deenergize and disconnect all equipment and reinstall protective cover on TI.
b. Annotate and affix DA Label/Form in accordance with TB 750-25.
