(1) Adjust R10 (fig. 3) for 1000 V dc indication on multimeter.
(2) Adjust R9 (fig. 3) for 500 V dc indication on multimeter.

16. Resistance Measurement
a. Performance Check
(1) Connect resistance standard no. 3 HI terminal to TI LINE terminal and
resistance standard LO terminal to TI GROUND terminal.
(2) Set TI RANGE switch to 1000V M x2. Rotate generator crank cw at speed. TI
meter will indicate 50 M 0.045 inches. Note TI meter indication.
(3) Remove resistance standard from TI. Short TI HI and LO terminals together.
Rotate generator crank cw at normal speed. TI meter will indicate 0 0.045 inches. If TI
