APPENDIX A
DATABASE DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
(1) Download the file ArmyCOMPASSDatatbase.zip from USATA web site:
https://usata.redstone.army.mil/tbs/9/6685/0383/
(2) .Click on the file and click Open. This will open the Winzip file.
(3) In Winzip, click Extract and select the folder to save to:
a. If the computer has Compass installed, save the file to:
C:/dhi/COMPASS for Pressure.
b. If not, save it to a folder and copy it to a disk then save it in the folder listed
above.
(4) Open Compass for Pressure. Click on the Database tab and select Compass
Database Maintenance Tool.
(5) Go to the Active Compass Setup Database and click the Open folder. Note the file
name of the active database file being used; this is the file name of the database to
return to once finished with the DPI610.
(6) Click the Open folder and go to the folder C:/dhi/COMPASS for Pressure. Click on
the file ArmyCOMPASSDatatbase_610.mdb and open this file in the active
database. See figure A-1.
