b. Adjustments
(1) Switch the TI on. Press the following SET UP: down arrow to SETTINGS,
down arrow to CALIBRATION, and ENTER.
(2) Use the up and down arrows to enter the first number of the pin. Unless it has
been changed it is 4321. Once the first number is entered, use the right arrow key to the
next number until all numbers are entered.
(3) Next select INT RANGES, down arrow to CURRENT IN, and down arrow to
55 mA.
(4) Open circuit the mA in terminals and use the up and down arrows to enter the
zero point.
(5) Connect the mA in terminals and the calibrator current out terminals.
(6) Set the calibrator for 55 mA 0.1 mA and, using the up/down and left/right
arrows, enter the full scale current. Press the ENTER key to accept the calibration. Press
the EXIT key four times to quit the CALIBRATION and SETUP modes.
(7) Verify the adjustment by repeating paragraph 9 a above.
10. Temperature
a. Performance Check
(1) Press the INPUT button and, using the up and down arrows, scroll to

TEMPERATURE. Press the ENTER key
(2) To change the temperature units, select units and scroll up or down to
.
FAHRENHEIT. Press the ENTER key
(3) Set the Standard Thermometer as close as possible to the TI's temperature
sensor.

b. Adjustments
(1) Switch the TI on. Press the following SET UP: down arrow to SETTINGS, down
arrow to CALIBRATION, and ENTER.

(3) Read the ambient temperature on the thermometer once it has stabilized.
