Adjustments required to calibrate the TI are included in this procedure. Additional
maintenance information is contained in the manufacturers' manuals for this TI.
d. Unless otherwise specified, all controls and control settings refer to the TI.
HIGH VOLTAGE is used or exposed during the performance of
DEATH ON CONTACT may result if
personnel fail to observe safety precautions.
REDUCE
OUTPUT(S) to minimum after each step within the
performance check where applicable.
a. Set the TI and calibrator power switches on.
b. Press the INPUT button and using the up and down arrows scroll to VOLTAGE.
Press the enter key
. If the TI is in AREO, press Task button and then, using the up
and down arrows, select ADVANCE. Press the enter key
.
c. Connect the output of the calibrator to the V in on the TI, observing polarity.
a. Performance Check
(1) Set the calibrator to the first value listed in the Calibrator Applied column in
table 3 and set OPR/STBY switch to OPR.
(2) TI will read within the limits in table 3. If not perform b below.
(3) Repeat steps (1) and (2) above for the remaining settings listed in table 3. If any
readings are not within the limits, perform b below.
