(6) Set the Multimeter for VDC and Autorange.
(7) Set TI power to ON.
(8) The Multimeter must indicate 9.99 to 10.01 V dc. If readings are not within the
limits, perform b below.
(9) Disconnect equipment set up.
(10) Connect the TI 24V Out to the Multimeter Input, observing polarity, and set TI
power to ON. Press the TI Output button. Use the TI down arrow to select 24 Volt OFF;

use the left or right arrows to select 24 Volt ON, and press ENTER
(11) The Multimeter must indicate 22.8 to 25.2 V dc. If readings are not within the
limits perform, b below.
(12) Press the TI Output button. Use the TI down arrow to select 24 Volt ON; use
.
the left or right arrows to select 24 Volt OFF, and press ENTER
(13) Disconnect equipment set up.
b. Adjustments
(1) Switch the TI on. Press the following SET UP: down arrow to SETTINGS,
press ENTER
; down arrow to CALIBRATION, press ENTER

(2) Use the up and down arrows to enter the first number of the pin. Unless it has
been changed, it is 4321. Once the first number is entered, use the right arrow key to the
next number until all numbers are entered.

(3) Next select INT RANGES, press ENTER
press ENTER
; and down arrow to 5 Volts, press ENTER

(4) Short the V in input terminals and use the up and down arrows to enter the
zero point.
(5) Remove the short from the input terminals. Connect the calibrator across the
V in terminals.
(6) Set the calibrator for 5 V 0.1 V and use the up and down arrows to enter the
measured full scale voltage. Press the ENTER key to accept the calibration. Press the
EXIT key four times to quit the CALIBRATION and SETUP modes. Next select INT
RANGES, down arrow to VOLTAGE IN, and down arrow to 50 Volts.
(7) Next select INT RANGES, down arrow to VOLTAGE IN, and down arrow to
50 Volts.
(8) Short the V in input terminals and use the up and down arrows to enter the
zero point.
(9) Remove the short from the input terminals. Connect the calibrator across the
V in terminals.
