(36) Set TI function switch to MB and turn TI off.
(37) Press and hold down the MB/NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(38) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(39) Press 1 (AMRx) on TI keypad.
(40) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 5 (225-400 MHz).
(41) Using TI keyboard, key in coefficient calculated in (35) above. Turn TI off and
back on.
(42) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 29-88 position.
Using keyboard set TI to
59 MHz.
(43) Set RF reference source for an output of -10 dBm at 59 MHz with 8 kHz FM
deviation and modulation rate of 1 kHz. Ensure TI is in FM mode, toggle TI XMIT-MEAS
switch, take a reading and calculate FM coefficient as follows:
FMRx = 8 kHz / Actual Deviation Reading
(44) Set TI function switch to MB and turn TI off.
(45) Press and hold down the MB/NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(46) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(47) Press 2 (FMRx) on TI keypad.
(48) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 1 (29-88 MHz).
(49) Using TI keyboard, key in coefficient calculated in (43) above. Turn TI off and
back on.
(50) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 108-118 position. Using keyboard set TI to
113 MHz.
(51) Set RF reference source for an output of -10 dBm at 113 MHz with 8 kHz FM
deviation and modulation rate of 1 kHz. Ensure TI is in FM mode, toggle TI XMIT-MEAS
switch, take a reading and calculate FM coefficient as follows:
FMRx = 8 kHz / Actual Deviation Reading
(52) Set TI function switch to MB and turn TI off.
(53) Press and hold down the MB/NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(54) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(55) Press 2 (FMRx) on TI keypad.
(56) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 2 (108-118 MHz).
(57) Using TI keyboard, key in coefficient calculated in (51) above. Turn TI off and
back on.
(58) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 118-156 position. Using keyboard set TI to
137 MHz.
