(12) Set TI function switch to MB and turn TI off.
(13) Press and hold down the MB/NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(14) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(15) Press 1 (AMRx) on TI keypad.
(16) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 2 (108-118 MHz).
(17) Using TI keyboard, key in coefficient calculated in (11) above. Turn TI off and
back on.
(18) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 118-156 position. Using keyboard set TI to
137 MHz.
(19) Set RF reference source for an output of 0 dBm at 137 MHz with 50% AM
modulation. Ensure TI is in AM mode, toggle TI XMIT-MEAS switch, take a reading and
calculate AM coefficient as follows:
AMRx = 50% / Actual Reading %
(20) Set TI function switch to MB and turn TI off.
(21) Press and hold down the MB/NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(22) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(23) Press 1 (AMRx) on TI keypad.
(24) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 3 (118-156 MHz).
(25) Using TI keyboard, key in coefficient calculated in (19) above. Turn TI off and
back on.
(26) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 156-174 position. Using keyboard set TI to
160 MHz.
(27) Set RF reference source for an output of 0 dBm at 160 MHz with 50% AM
modulation. Ensure TI is in AM mode, toggle TI XMIT-MEAS switch, take a reading and
calculate AM coefficient as follows:
AMRx = 50% / Actual Reading %
(28) Set TI function switch to MB and turn TI off.
(29) Press and hold down the MB/NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(30) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(31) Press 1 (AMRx) on TI keypad.
(32) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 4 (156-174 MHz).
(33) Using TI keyboard, key in coefficient calculated in (27) above. Turn TI off and
back on.
(34) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 225-400 position. Using keyboard set TI to
300 MHz.
(35) Set RF reference source for an output of 0 dBm at 300 MHz with 50% AM
modulation. Ensure TI is in AM mode, toggle TI XMIT-MEAS switch, take a reading and
calculate AM coefficient as follows:
