(82) Adjust RF power amplifier output for a 1 W reading on RF watt meter. Adjust
R70 (fig. 4) until TI switches to XMIT-MEAS mode.
(83) Rotate TI FUNCTION switch to 118-156 position. Using keyboard set TI to
137 MHz.
(84) Use reading annotated in 15 a (69) above to calculate VSWR coefficient as
follows:
VSWR = (VSWR 3dB +1 / VSWR 3dB -1) x 0.524
(85) Turn TI off and set TI FUNCTION switch to MB.
(86) Press and hold down the MB/NAV ID switch while turning the TI on.
(87) When Enter Cal Code appears on TI screen, enter 953 on TI keypad.
(88) Press 5 (VSWR) on TI keypad.
(89) Use TI keyboard ,
keys to select band 3 (118-156 MHz).
(90) Using TI keyboard, key in coefficient calculated in (84) above. Turn TI off and
back on.
16. Final Procedure
a. Deenergize and disconnect all equipment.
b. Annotate and affix DA label/form in accordance with TB 750-25.
