b. Adjustments
(1) For TIs with card A4 perform technique of (2) through (7). Others proceed to
technique (8).
(2) Position controls as listed in (a) through (f) below.
(a) FM k/MHz pushbutton pressed.
(b) MODULATION FREQUENCY range switch to FIXED FREQ 1 kHz.
(c) FM switch to OFF.
(d) PEAK DEVIATION switch to 10 kHz.
(e) PEAK DEVIATION vernier control fully ccw.
(f) RANGE MHz switch to 4 - 2.
(3) Connect multimeter INPUT HI to A2TP3 (DC OUTPUT, fig. 1) and INPUT LO to
A2TP1 (GND, fig.1). Adjust A2R15 (DET OFFSET, fig. 1) for a 0.000 1 mV dc multimeter
indication.
(4) Disconnect multimeter from A2TP3 and connect to A4TP1 (fig. 1). Adjust A4R10
