e. Set function generator for an output of 490 mV dc and observe that the dc voltage on

g. Adjust OG1 (fig. 12) on vertical assembly A2 (Channel 1 offset gain) until trace is
on the center graticule. Slowly adjust OG1 (fig. 12) in small increments and wait for 8
averages to accumulate.
h. Set Channel 1 display Off and set Channel 2 display On and move input
connector to Channel 2.
i. Repeat e through g above for Channel 2 except adjust OG2 (fig. 12) on vertical
assembly A2.
j. Set Channel 2 display Off and set Channel 3 display On and move input
connector to Channel 3.
k. Repeat e through g above for Channel 3 except adjust OG3 (fig. 12) on vertical
assembly A2.
l. Set Channel 3 display Off and set Channel 4 display On and move input
connector to Channel 4.
m. Repeat e through g above for Channel 4 except adjust OG4 (fig. 12) on vertical
assembly A2.
n. Remove all connections.
o. Press More, Utility, Cal Menu, and Channel Vertical Cal keys and follow the
instructions on the display.
a. Set the display menu and mainframe settings to meet the following conditions:
(1) Press Display key. Display Mode to Average is highlighted. NUMBER OF
AVERAGES to # Averages = 16. Screen to Single is highlighted. Graticule to Frame
is highlighted. Bandwidth to 12A GHz is highlighted.
(2) Press Channels key. Channel 1 display On is highlighted. Channel 2
through 4 display Off is highlighted. VOLTS/DIV to 30.00 mV/div. OFFSET to Offset =
100.00 mV. PROBE ATTEN to Chl Atten Factor = 1.000.
(3) Press Timebase key. TIME/DIV to Sweep Speed = 200 ps/div. DELAY to
Delay = 16.000 ns. Delay Ref at Left is highlighted. Freerun/Trg'd/Sweep to
Freerun is highlighted. FREERUN RATE to 10 kHz is highlighted.
(4) Press Network key. Reflect/Trans/Cal to Reflect is highlighted. Step &
Chan 1 to On is highlighted.

Use four-terminal ohm measurement technique in b and c
