Figure 13. Trace discontinuity at eighth graticule.
f. Press Timebase key and set TIME/DIV to Sweep Speed = 10.00 ps/div. Press
DELAY key and set to Delay =59.95 ns.
g. Press Channels key and set VOLTS/DIV to 2.000 mV/div and OFFSET to Offset
= 60.00 mV.
h. If necessary, adjust the trigger level to center the trace discontinuity vertically on
display (fig. 14).
i. Readjust the END adjust on horizontal assembly Al (fig. 11) to eliminate the trace
discontinuity (fig. 15).
Press Timebase and DELAY keys. Set Delay = 19.95 ns.
j.
k. Adjust the 4 NSEC CAL on horizontal assembly Al (fig. 11) from its ccw limit to the
first null point (minimum trace discontinuity).
NOTE
Adjusting to the second null point may cause timebase errors.
It is all right to leave the adjustment fully ccw.
l.  Press Timebase and DELAY keys. Set Delay = 59.95 ns. If discontinuity is not
minimized at 19.95 and 59.95 ns, it may be necessary to repeat i through k above.
