(8) Repeat technique of (3) through (7) above for command button 1090 TX SUM.
(9) Disconnect measuring receiver sensor module from coax cable W4 "Σ" (A5J2)
and reconnect to coax cable W3 "Δ" (A5J1).
(10) Repeat technique of (3), (4), (6), and (7) above for command button 1030 TX
DIFF and 1030 TX AUX.
NOTE
To complete technique of (11) through (21) below, it may be
necessary to increase measuring receiver IF bandwidth to
capture TI signal. The following TX DIRECT measurements
should be made quickly to minimize any frequency drift effects
of TI on the tuned level measurements.
(11) Disconnect measuring receiver sensor module from TI and reconnect measuring
receiver to RF reference source leveling head output.
(12) Select [Frequency Counter] on measuring receiver.
(13) Set RF reference source frequency to value recorded in (5) above for 1030 TX
SUM (1090 TX SUM) at 0 dBm.
(14) Set RF reference source to OPER.
(15) Select [Tuned RF Level] on measuring receiver.
(16) Set RF reference source output level to ensure the measuring receiver changes
to range 2 of measurement receiver tuned RF level (approximately -60 dBm).
(17) Set output of RF reference source output to STBY.
(18) Disconnect RF reference source and connect measuring receiver sensor module
(19) Select [Frequency Counter] on measuring receiver.
(20) On the instrument controller, click command button 1030 TX DIRECT followed
by command button OK to close the dialog box.
(21) Select [Tuned RF Level] on measuring receiver.
(22) Measuring receiver will indicate 50.0 dBm 1.5 dB. If measuring receiver is
within tolerance, click command button OK. Radio button will fill indicating that
parameter is complete. If measuring receiver indication is not 50.0 dBm 1.5 dB, perform
b below.
(23) Repeat technique of (11) through (20) above at 1090 MHz using the command
button 1090 TX DIRECT.
(24) Disconnect measuring receiver sensor module from TI.
