a. Performance Check
(1) Set the rotary selector switch to the Hz position.
(2) Set calibrator output for 2 V at 10 Hz. TI will indicate within limits specified in
first row of table 5. If TI does not indicate within limits specified in table 5, perform
b below.
(3) Repeat technique of (2) above, using the remaining settings and indications
listed in table 5. TI will indicate within limits specified in table 5. If TI does not indicate
within limits specified in table 5, perform b below.

a. Performance Check
NOTE
The 2000 M and 200 M ranges have a fixed 10-count offset.
When the test leads are shorted together, the meter will
indicate 10. This residual value (10 M on the 2000 M and
1 M on the 200 M range) must be subtracted from readings
taken in these ranges.

(1) Set the rotary selector switch 200
(2) Set calibrator for a 19
(2-wire Comp: ON) output. The audible alert should sound.
(3) Set calibrator for a 190
nominal output.
